Financial Aid Office
Financial Aid comes from many sources: Federal and state funds, foundations, community organizations, and private individuals. The money goes to students in many forms: Scholarships, grants, and jobs. Usually, we offer a combination of these awards in a package tailored to meet your needs. Some scholarships are awarded to students for academic merit and promise alone; however, most other forms of aid are awarded on the basis of financial need alone.
To determine your need and to estimate your family contribution, we follow the nationally accepted standards and procedures of federal methodology. This procedure is required (by the institution as well as the state and federal governments) in order that all applicants will be treated equitably, according to a standardized need analysis system.
More information about how to apply for financial aid is covered in the Money Matters section.
Business Office
Payments for tuition, fees, and other charges may be made by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card in person at the Business Office.
VISA, Master Card, and Discover cards are accepted.
Credit/Debit card payments may also be made online through the MyChipola portal by accessing the student’s account.
It is the student’s responsibility to alert the cashier of any scholarship or financial aid awards not shown in the student’s account at the time of registration. Students with scholarship or financial aid awards who have funds posted in their student account will be considered as having paid all fees and tuition, provided the funds cover all charges due.
Parking decals are available in the Business Office.
