Bachelor of Science Degree
For all BS degrees, students must complete 120 hours to obtain a baccalaureate degree from Chipola College. Twenty-five percent of the total semester hours toward graduation must be earned in academic programs in residence at Chipola College, and a total of sixty (60) semester hours of the work credited toward the baccalaureate degree must be earned in an accredited senior institution.
Business
- 60 semester hours must be earned in courses numbered 3000 and above
- Complete significant hours of community service
RN to BSN
- Have an AS degree in Nursing
- Licensed RN in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama
- Limited access, limited enrollment program
- Have an AA degree from a Florida public institution OR 60 semesters hours and satisfactory completion of Chipola’s general education requirements
- Completion of all prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of “C”
Education
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required
- AA degree OR 60 semester credit hours of postsecondary education with the completion of the Chipola College general education requirements from a regionally accredited institution
- Passing scores on all sections of the General Knowledge portion of the FTCE
- Complete a self-disclosure form which includes personal criminal background information
- A minimum of 120 semester hours must be completed. (40 of those hours must be in courses numbered 3000 and above)
- Minimum 30 of the 40 hours must be in residence at Chipola College
- For secondary Math and Biology, all Junior and Senior level courses must be passed with a “C” average
